This is great! My local group was having a discussion about Gen AI use when a guy used it to write the rules for his game (he didn't even make a human editing pass.)
Since people are using Gen AI for more than just art, would you be open to revising the limitations to include text and/or rules?

My intentions with this are to cover anything creative. I wonder if someone would purposely use ai to write, but use public domain art and try to claim the right to use this icon. Seems like they missed the message. Would wording change the actions of this kind of person? If so, we gotta find the right word!
I would personally go with "content", but I also understand if that's too broad.
Another option is to rephrase it to say "AI was not used in any part of the process", "the project should not use AI for art, writing, etc", or something like that.
Personally, especially in the game industry, I see programming as part of the art, which should be included to be hand-made to use the icon, but that’s just my opinion.
I also agree. I think anything people make is art. And language (coding or communication) should come from people. Coding is definitely an art (i'm very bad at it)

Like a Human-Made itch io profile to help as a hub of recentering exposition until this censorship bs break itch io or we take our rights of publishing indie back? no overstep. good imitative. been wanting to compile a site or something with products/creators who have printed/published something with the icon. I'm not quite tech savvy enough to make that work and not take up every waking moment of my day. but would be cool to see a weblink or something of folks's work.
I have zero networth to come up something, but as I can see you are interested in keep us visible so I would let better in yours or someone else more proeminent behalves to do something. As for techsavvy site, https://wordpress.com/ worked wonders for me.

You can make itch collections, which might be the easiest way to compile games that fit the category.
i have on my own page, but i doubt a small potatoe like me has the eyes needed to make it useful 😅
