This is the NES version, so I won't implement this feature. Maybe some emulators support the mouse input?
I am working on a Steam version, I'll certainly consider your suggestion for this version! Thanks.
I think most NES emulators support the SNES mouse, actually. And the actual NES of course supports the SNES mouse.
