Took 4 tries and comment surfing but I finally got the good ending. ( If you need help, try to not make him feel stressed out and at the end, ask him to call. that's what helped me. )

I think when it ends on the new years immediately, its the bad ending. I went through every choice and getting that means bad ending.
There is a good ending tho! With the call and other extra dialogues. You just have to choose different text replies from the start

dont choose the i never see you, choose the nothing to think of you and if you do the steps correctly you should get this screen
