it's a pretty cool concept, that a poker game sets the parameters of a platformer fighting game. I sadly didn't get the warm fuzzies from it. I wanted to see a stonger connection between the poker hands being played and the resulting fight scene that plays out. For instance, what if the player got immediate feedback about how the poker hand will effect the coming battle. Also it could have been cool if the different poker hands all had unique effects on the coming fight, and even better if the results of the fight had impact on the poker hands. Anyways, there's a lot going for the game and plenty of ways to expand. I'm excited to see where it goes.

Super impressed of the scope of this game. Its very unique and a cool take on deck building or poker esc games. I felt that the time constraint wasnt used much? or that i was such an epic gamer tm and didn't ever have that issue. I noticed sometimes I would get hit without touching or maybe my machine is just slow. Overall i had a lot of fun and it beautiful and very well polished
super impressive for being made within 4 days. i like the little tv static filter going on with the music. concept itself is super neat with the buffs and spawns tied to card types. I seemed to always have plenty of time, so i think the game could benefit from discards being more harmful or just decreasing the time a bit overall
Yeah I had two things I would of done to make it harder, one being a boss fight at the end with a copy of the player using the enemy buffs. But that would of meant I had to spend at least 1 whole day on a state machine for the goober. And I'd probably of made low hands buff negative cards, and nerf positive cards. While high hands did the opposite.
I'm glad you enjoyed it for what it was! :D
Pretty fun to play. I like the scan lines effect, fits nicely with the art.
I will say though that as a person who's card game skills don't extend past Uno I did find it slightly confusing.
Visuals: Very good
Audio: Sounds good
Theme: It fits
Gameplay: The controls are smooth but enemies die too easily
Enjoyment: I liked the game, so yeah
