Game Description
They say that 90% of the decisions we make are unconscious! But how does that happen exactly? Maybe the manifestations of our subconscious, are getting help as we sleep... maybe some wander into the Soul Perfumer's Greenhouse?
How does your game tie into the theme?
You grow spirit plants in the Garden within your Greenhouse. You help spirits that wander into your greenhouse, grow beyond the traumas of their human counterparts.

Congrats on your first jam! I really appreciate the art style—it’s refreshing to see this hand-drawn approach. The storytelling and overall universe are super interesting and unique. I would have loved a little more gameplay, but overall, I really enjoyed my time as a soul perfumer. Well done!
i really like the vibe of the game. though the offering of perfumes to the customer never seemed to end, is that a bug? If so, then what a pitty.
Is there any gameplay here? Or just spam clicking Play button until it ends?
Unfortunately, nothing other than the watering and cutting of plants, and the spraying of perfumes buttons. I could only create interactive animations, but no gameplay other than the narrative linearly playing out. Gameplay will arrive with an update - this was my first game made solo, I'm new to programming. ^^
Congrats on your first Godot Wild Jam submission! I really like the hand-drawn style. The art and music all fits perfectly with the overall style.
Great work!
The game definitely has charm! I was really looking forward to discovering clues about the spirits' woes so I could concoct the appropriate perfumes to soothe their troubles, but it seems this part was not yet implemented?
I hope you'll make an update after the jam! I think it'll make for a really nice game! 😁
I really loved the art in this game, it felt super cute and charming! I would love to see this expanded into having new rounds of growing plants/soul perfumes. I think having the ability to interact specifically with using certain soul perfumes would help with the game mechanically. Congrats on your first wild jam! - ANTIHERO Harley
Cool game! I really like the art style, especially the art for the spirit thing is so cute. I would've liked some more emphasis on the actual soul perfuming stuff, it seemed like the story kept progressing even when I didn't interact with it. Great work and very impressive for your first time coding something wow!
I liked very much the vibe and the style. The game reminded me of planting some lavendel to our garden :)
I really liked the art style,i agree with people below about adding more sfx and necessity to go back and harvest more plants to reach the end. Thanks for this great game!
I really like the idea and the overall cozy feel of the game even though it touches on some heavy themes. Very meditative.
Incredible art! I love the high-concept vibe of this game, I was happy to sit and enjoy the music and read your writing for a few minutes :) If I were to leave any piece of feedback it would be that I think there are a couple perfumes you could choose from in the UI, but I just clicked through the spray bottle prompt without needing to interact with those. It would be cool if to reach the end of the dialogue you have to go back, harvest more plants, and combine them. Well done on your entry!
Thank you for your feedback and for trying the game! There's a lot I couldn't implement due to this being my first coding experience. I did implement a hover for the Spirit Plant jars, but otherwise, couldn't do a lot mechanically speaking in the game - I'll definitely be working more on this one, including more happening in the Garden.
Wow, fantastic art design! Neat story! Would love to see more! Would maybe add more sounds for things like the perfumer and bottles?
Yes, there will be updates!
I plan to refactor the code entirely so that I can implement the SFX - they were made, but I had some major issues with the AudioStreamPlayer2D.
A lot got left out in this iteration and I had to rework the narrative to fit into the low-scope... which I think compromised as well how it "feels" to read it.
Thank you for trying it, and for the comment!
