Welcome to Pizza Doggy’s Horror Jam #4!

Create a short horror experience with some humor mixed in. Keep the scope small. Pick any style, use any game engine, have fun, and hopefully learn something new!

Duration: 2 weeks
Jam Type: Solo or Team, Ranked (voted by the participants of the jam)

Prizes
A secret gift to everyone who joins.
A certificate of participation.

That's right! Everyone joining this jam (even if you don’t submit an entry) will receive a secret gift during the jam.
Everyone who submits a valid entry will also receive a certificate of participation (upon request).


Requirements
You must incorporate the jam's theme as the basis of your game.
You must incorporate at least one of the jam's diversifiers.
Horror elements.
Humor (optional, but appreciated).
Work alone, or in a team of up to 5 people.
Rate at least 5 entries from the other participants.


Rules
No nudity or sexualized content.
The game page must have at least two screenshots of the gameplay.
No AI-generated art in-game, or the project page. You may use AI in design or code, but assets must be human-made. Tools that build the entire game from promps are also not allowed.
Game must be playable. It must run on Windows or Web (other platforms optional).

Judging Criteria
Ultimate Impression (this decides the winners) - How memorable and impactful is the game overall?
Humor - Are there any jokes? How well are they implemented?
Visual Design - How effective and consistent are the game's visuals?
Audio Design - How well does the audio support the game experience?


Theme (must be incorporated into the game)
Erosion - the gradual destruction or diminishment of something.
For example, it can affect space, memory, the body, gravity, time, perception, identity, sound, material, or anything else.
*The jam’s theme can be interpreted abstractly, so it won’t impose strict limits on your creativity.*


Diversifiers (at least one must be incorporated into the game)
• Buried alive.
• Prison break.
• Digging deep.
• Treasure hunting.
• Mining for resources.
• Drilling your way out.
• Underwater research or exploration.
