I really enjoyed the art style! I would love a full game with this style.

Most unique game that I currently seen in this jam. Controls, animations, sounds, effects, combat system - everything is amazing. I really enjoyed playing this game. Well done!

Thank you!

Wow you managed to build an entire RPG system in 48 hours. Really like the idea of a really fast paced rpg game and the presentation is excellent. It didn't really feel all that fun to me yet but I think with a little bit of rebalancing and making the encounters faster it could potentially be very fun.

Developer

Yeah; I personally didn't think it was too fun myself. But I got to test the systems I wanted.

I'll definitely give it a bit of polish after the jam!

Under the circumstances this is super outstanding, easily immersive, easy to understand what was going on, all at the same time.  Masterful job.  Also nice touches atmospherically with the animated background during the fights and the cheese animation in the lower right.

If i have a super minor criticism it's i didn't understand why he already had many items in his inventory or how he would pick them up because I see myself just picking up cheese things.  Is it implied he starts with a bunch already or are they coming from also-grabbing-cheese.  That's the -only- mystery nor maybe is it important....if I just super enjoyed myself.  Could be the most important and the only thing!  And I grew up with the golden age of Arcades so I well know things don't have to be too psychologically deep.

Gave you an itch follow, super impressed.  If you like the thing(s) on my page(s), consider doing the same.

Cheers!

Haha! I realized that afterwards too; the original concept is garbage being tossed into the dungeon with you from above; and you're sifting through to grab what you can.

Also the original intent to meet the theme of isolation; was fallen from ceiling/being tossed into a dungeon.

Can't wait to revisit this after jam, and spend 1-2 days adding the finishing touches! Until then; it is all mystery magic~

Thank you for playing!
