Decker
A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux
Decker is a multimedia platform for creating and sharing interactive documents, with sound, images, hypertext, and scripted behavior. It draws strong influence from HyperCard, as well as more modern "no-code" or "low-code" creative tools like Twine and Bitsy.
You can try Decker in your browser right now! Not sure how to get started? Read and play along with Phinxel's Phield Notes, an interactive Decker tutorial.
Combine drawings and photographs with behaviors:

Build games and toys,
And even useful applications!
Decker provides a novel scripting language called Lil, which is easy to learn but highly expressive. Simple things are easy, and complex things are possible.
Decker can be used for making:
- Interactive Documentation
- E-Zines
- Visual novels
- Personal databases
- Point-and-click games
- And much more!
Source code for Decker is available on GitHub, and the latest documentation is available here. Decker will always be free and open-source. If you enjoy using Decker, please tell other people about it!
