
VOIDLAND
A lone fire breaks the monotony of an empty, endless horizon, and next to it, you. How it spits at you! And yet you've been using whatever strength you have to haul coals and refuse beneath the surface onto its searing pit for days. Just you and the fire. That's all there is - the only reminder that physics of some kind continue to work here. What a decision it was to trek into the VOIDLAND in the promise of mining the fabled GLOW; now with priceless riches beneath you, all that tugs at an exhausted mind is your worrying proximity to death, and whatever means are possible to stave it off.

VOIDLAND is a concept for a roguelike, tower defence and survival game all rolled into one. Mine the depths using coal to rekindle the fire. Find resources to research new things, upgrade your weapon, and build wards to stave off the ever-increasing waves of enemies. Explore infinite procedurally generated caverns. Don't die. There's multiple difficulty modes if you're dying a little too much, though.
This first version (Jam Version) v0.2 includes 3 enemy types, 6 resource types, 9 technologies with a small technology tree, 62 different responses to parser inputs, and a working subsurface map. In true roguelike fashion, there's currently no win state other than to survive the game as long as you can.
