<p>The example illustrates the ability to override default x and y units (ax1) to
inches and centimeters using the <code class="xref py py-obj docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">xunits</span></code> and <code class="xref py py-obj docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">yunits</span></code> parameters for the
<code class="xref py py-obj docutils literal notranslate"><span class="pre">plot</span></code> function. Note that conversions are applied to get numbers to correct
units.</p>
