I would just try to deprecate all of mlab at some point; I don't think it makes much sense to try going through it one function at a time.

These toolkits were deprecated as of
2.0, so I've remove references to them in the docs and the corresponding examples.I think we should maybe also deprecate
mlab.csv2rec(); thoughts?
