The build worker refactors error handling for missing entrypoints and unsupported runtimes, replacing exception throws with a dedicated failure path using a new markDeploymentFailed helper method. This method uniformly updates deployment state, triggers realtime updates, updates VCS status when applicable, and logs usage. The getRuntime method signature is changed to return a nullable array instead of an array, deferring responsibility for handling null values to the caller. Specification parameter resolution is deferred until after runtime validation completes.
