In tests, catch errors from rejected promises automatically

For JavaScript unit tests:

Currently, promise rejections are only caught if the promise is returned. We'd like to be able to catch them globally. See https://github.com/angular/angular/pull/5375#issuecomment-158479245 and the comments below.
