I settled in long-term on Graphics Programming, but always did something else, due to other various demands. After countless delays, I've decided (27.2.25) to discontinue my activity. Therefore, it will not be announced upon resumption — judging by the past, this break will last at least two years. It‘s possible that the main topic will change if I continue.
The realization that the majority of what I need already exists, led me to write mostly glue-code. So it will take a long time, to find the potential of low-level languages — Preventing misuse by not using them as all-purpose for any case.
For that reason I prioritize what I need first, then what I want (which is described below).
- playGround - Experimental prototypes, maybe easter-eggs too
- Software-Rasterizer - CPU-Renderer ( TBD, other priorities)
Toolchain
scripting: Bash (phasing out) Elvish
C (more TBD - if you're willing, look at older commits)
- Terminal Visualisation / Graphics (rapid prototypes)
- Linux DRM/KMS (PoC), then SDL3
- 14.07.2022: C# (WPF)
- 27.11.2023: C++
+ 18.01.2025: C & Arch GNU/LinuxTransition from theory to practical systems programming. It could anyway still happen that I digress into other topics. My Focus Areas should help me to show where I am.
- Synonym for Perfection is an Asymptote
- Focused progress > scattered learning
