Game Poems — Issue #1: First Moves
Game Poems — Issue #1: First Moves
Game Poems is a playable magazine dedicated to exploring the artistic and poetic potential of short-form videogames.
Issue #1, "First Moves," presents a curated collection of tiny experimental games by poets, artists, scholars, and independent game developers from around the world. Each game is designed to be played in just a few minutes.
Rather than treating games as illustrations of written text, Game Poems approaches game-making itself as a poetic practice. Each game explores personal experience, constraint, ambiguity, and lyric expression through game mechanics, images, sound, and interaction.

- Most playable in under 5 minutes
- Games by artists, poets, scholars, and students, as well as indie developers and lead designers at AAA studios.
