Let me know your thoughts:
on progression of upgrades (do you feel you hit a rough wall at some point?)
black holes (do you take advantage of them or ignore them?)
and artifacts
Progression was very easy for me once I understood the process of going off planet with the ship and making sure I had enough fuel to make it back, then understanding that the operations mode was an idle mode. I think clarifying some of this information during your tutorial onboarding will be a nice addition to the game.
I haven't even tried black holes yet. Are they shortcuts for your longer range ships?
Artifacts are great. I enjoy rerolling for better ones. My only suggestion is to clearly specify on the UI what the max roll for each one can be, as I have no idea if I have best in slot or not.
I played a bit, and signed in through Google. closed the game, and came back, but when I try to sign in again i'm getting an error message from firebase saying a popup was blocked. Is this my adblocker on my browser? I whitelisted both your itch website and the google sign in form.
I noticed that too, i think chrome updated their blocking. I figured out i was able to allow the pop up after it gave the error message. Did you try to click the pop up message and choose "allow"? its a button that comes up on the right side of the URL at the top of the browser. i'm going to work on that further though. let me know if it doesn't work though
I'm using Brave, which is chromium based with its own adblocker built in. Don't think it has allow buttons for one time things, but maybe i'm missing something.
-Edit- I'm on Linux, but was able to get on with Firefox. Brave didn't show a prompt for allowing to open a new window. (lost my save data though switching browsers, but makes sense if you are storing them in a local cache)
Cloud saves should be 100% functional BUT i didn't build with ad blockers in mind. that is interfering with the cloud saves so most likely the data was only saved locally and not saving properly to cloud. That is crucial that you brought that up so thank you. I will try a workaround to work with adblockers. Thanks for bringing that up.
Buying the Ziggie Crate gives (1200 Energy), if used to fill energy it should only take what it needs to refill and not consume the entire Crate wasting energy.
I kinda wonder if this intentional. You need to make decisions about which tier of food to be buying based on your current energy capacity. For example I decided to use the 200 energy ones even though my cap was about 160 because my laziness was worth the loss of energy to me.
it is intentional but i've been debating whether or not to block off foods until you can auto eat a food at 10% max energy where it consumes the entire food and wastes no energy. thanks for bringing it up Kebb

Cloud saves are incorporated and functional
i lost my save :(
I incorporated a new progression system where planers are locked by total shards mined. So now that may lock planets you’ve already been too if you haven’t hit the total yet. Did you lose your entire save? Do you still have the same fuel and vessels Or is it all gone? Are you playing on a different device?

Not very clear you need to double-click the 'map' button to get back to the actual map.
I'll work on a solution, thanks for the feedback.
I incorporated that into the tutorial!
Maybe add a hint on the Earth mining view about double-clicking the map to see the solar system view.

Your "mine with hands" button was very hard to find. It is the least colored item on the screen, and the one that starts everything. I would make it green instead of the energy bar.
Every time a shard is mined, the shard list resets. Meaning, I can't look at the list for more than 3 seconds.
I see what you mean and I will definitely incorporate those two fixes in the next update! I really appreciate your feedback!
