This game was so bad it inspired me to create an account to make this post, so kudos for that. A game criticizing AI? Sure, a lot of criticism of AI is fearmongering or a thought-terminating cliché, but there are plenty of things you can and should criticize when it comes to this topic. So what does this game do? well... nothing, really. it's not a criticism of any kind of AI, it's a strawman. Did anyone in the team even use LLM AIs like chatgpt, grok and gemini? I have, and they don't work anything like they do in this game. They're essentially yesmen who regurgitate any information you give them. They don't ignore your prompts or be insensitive about your trauma, but they can do more dangerous things. They can spread misinformation, and feed someone's self-delusions to a dangerous degree. You know what could've been a better game story criticizing AI? One about a mentally ill person having their delusions being nourished by their AI companion until something drastic happens, like it has in real life. Or one about someone retreating from real life socialization as they make an AI their friend/lover.. If you wanted to go with the current story, the AI should've fed to unhealthy coping mechanisms regarding the grandma's death. Just... anything besides this deeply generic story that says nothing about AI.
Ah, so the game is propaganda? That's too bad. I was going to play it. Well, back to working on my Masters degree in AI and cringing at the latest ignorance band wagon that people have chosen to jump on as it hurdles them towards the cliff of failure.
Now how awful AI can be, that's a finite statement that could be true. But how awful AI is, that's a universal statement and pure misinformation.
Interesting goofy game! It reminds me of how useless the ‘staff care’ programs in companies are. Using cute stickers to cover up whatever turmoil we're in is just ‘doing’ it! :p
both a commentary on the harmfulness of replacing human jobs with ai and on why forgetting isn’t always the best solution for grief. i would love to see more!

that's the real point of how AI mess up with our brains
This game greatly shows how awful AI really is.

Ew. Youre disgusting.
This is really interesting, I really enjoy the art style and the satire humor!

Such an interesting idea and realization. Great job yall :3
I laughed so hard while playing. I wanted more.
I love everything about this
The game cleverly reflects the disturbing reality of AI’s shallowness.
This game isn't just a game -- it's a look into the bright future of AI assisted culture!
