"Love at the Milky Way Diner" is an LGBT-friendly cozy sci-fi cooking/dating sim about making friends, finding love, and running a diner in deep space.
200 years after first contact, humanity is still trying to find their place in a galaxy full of far more advanced and established species.
One such human, our protagonist, has recently been laid off from their corporate job on Mars when news reaches them; their distant aunt Cassiopia has passed away suddenly, and she would like one of her relatives to take over her restaurant on the distant deep space station Hesperides.
The protagonist decides to take a leap of faith. They may have never left their home start system of Helios, but surely there must be something (or maybe someone) better out there waiting for them.
When they reach the station they find themselves welcomed by a vibrant, multi-species community of eccentric individuals who are only too happy to welcome the new owner of their favourite place to eat.
Love at the Milky Way Diner is a game about cultural exchange through food, building community, and finding love in the process.
The Hesperides station is home to eight singles looking for love
LTMWD tells a story about adults, and as such includes some occasional mature themes. Please use your own discretion when playing this game.

I just have a question. During the introduction, I choose to make a dessert for Aedar and for my neighbors as a welcome gift, but then in the next scene when I encounter them I never give it to them. I just wanted to know if it's always the case or if I have to choose some specific choices to trigger me giving them the dessert ?

Not sure if it's just me, but I keep getting referred to with she/her pronouns despite not choosing so. It's not a deal breaker, but I'm wondering if there's a fix for it? (Loving the story so far despite this!!!)

The game is really amazing
Loving the game so far but unfortunately I'm having an issue on the first day after the demo with the glowclam pot pie where I have all of the ingredients listed in the exact order in the oven yet it's telling me it's incorrect :(, also wondering if there's an updated discord link? Thanks!

We've pushed another build! please let us know if it works now, otherwise you can access the game through the steam code included in your download.
i don't know what's going on but it doesn't work, and i have steam but it doesn't show the payment just the demo

you should have a received a steam code when you downloaded off itch.
We’ve contacted Steam about them not showing our EA build in the store, but if you enter the code in your library you’ll be able to play it no problem :)

The demo was incredible, I feel like this is gonna be one of those titles that I wont be able to stop thinking about for a good while. The worldbuilding and overall setting is super interesting and you've managed to make every single character incredibly charming it's insane (/pos). i loved this game, cant wait to romance all of them >:)) the dialogue and banter is so natural i love it! even without the romantic aspect, the friendships that'll be built between mc and everyone else on the ship will be an absolute delight to watch play out!! aswell as the friendships between each of them lol, the interactions between them are so funny i love it. like ka'el having nicknames for everyone??? uggh i love her,, she and setteth seemed to lwk have beef which im interested to find out the drama behind LOL
also the world building is so good?? i like how it comes in pieces and not just one big exposition dump, and theres a reason as to why we as the player dont know anything. the species are all so unique i cant wait to learn more about them!

Hiya! I was wondering if you guys are continuing with this project? Because, this game is honestly wonderful and really nice! :D I'm just wondering because the page hasn't been updated in 52 days.
Chill out 😭 the game's still new. It's only worrying when they dont update for years. 50-100 days is normal for games that are high quality like this
I absolutely enjoy the vibrant colors, lore, characters, and calm cooking environment! I hope to see more in the future and hopefully play the full game! Also, where I thought I saw a bug with the Roon there wasn't any. I accidentally named the Roon, my MC's name was my fault. A false alarm since I got a bit confused thinking the Roon would call the MC a nickname. So, apologies for that! Anyway, besides that I think this game is promising! I hope to learn more about the characters soon! Especially Setteth, Ka'el, Aedar, and Shiwoo.
I just finished the demo and may I just say I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS GAME! I cannot wait to buy the full version and am hoping all goes well with you CC Studios!!!
Side note I love Aedar so much, he is such a cutie! I know I'll be losing quite the few hours of sleep when it comes out because I was trying my best to extend the first meeting, I had with him LOL!
