God, it been a while I laugh this hard. The humor in the writing is so right up in my alley. I really need to know how on earth you can come up with this level of writing because it's very impressive.

I am so in love with this game. The art is very pretty, the characters are fun (I love Ray so much), and the writing is top tier. I actually have a great time playing!

You don't know how much I LOVEEED THE GAME!!! I AM OBSESSED!! It's been long since I've found a good visual novel that has me giggling and having the best time of my life!! The dialogue was AMAZING, the plot was perfect, the art was also super cute, everyone was beautiful, everything everything was flawless.

You even made me not dread my maybe future life in case it ends up going the "wrong way". Emma is so relatable, and I loved Hal, I can't believe how cute you made him; He made me forget about my blonde, rich and sassy type in fictional men.

I am the happiest I've been in several weeks prob months. This game has given the energy I've been looking for. Thank You.

The dialogues are so funny. Emma and Hal are both really cute and awkward together, I kept rooting for them while playing. Hal is also super considerate, a sweetie all around. 

I am obsessed with the aesthetic, it's all so pink, cohesive and slick aka GUI, Game Page and Logo is just wow. 

The art for the sprites and CGs aren't slacking either, everything is gorgeous, (Hal looks REALLY fine) and the expressions fit each character really well!

This is such an amazing vn its realistic and so relatable good job on this, effort is there for this game!!! This is so worth it to play through it all. INLOVEEE Hal and Emma are so perfect for each other. This game reminded me my love for vns so many visual details in this that makes me like this game even more. Also love the side characters that come into play with the story.

I haven't played many indie Otome games/demos lately due to feeling uninspired. But "Low Effort Romance" reminded me why I appreciate indie Otome visual novels. I really enjoyed this. The writing is so freaking hilarious. I chuckled at some unexpected lines. I was reminded of contemporary RomCom books (with older MC's) that I highly rated. 

All the characters were enjoyable. Even though work can suck one's soul, I wouldn't mind a job if I had co-worker/friends like Raymond and Monica and an equally exhausted & attractive IT guy I can banter with. The FMC is relatable in her awkwardness, but she's not meek. I also liked the fact that Hal isn't over-confident and perfect (I'm not against popular, cocky & rich MMC's, but I like the opposite too). I also like how down-to-earth and honest Hal is...I agree with him, I'm also too old for wishy-washy communication.

The facial expressions perfectly matched the dialogue. And all the characters have their own unique appearance. A lot of details too in the clothing texture, Hal's freckles and dark circles, glossy lips, etc.

I got "Normal Ending" the first playthrough. I'll have to play again for the missing CG's. And I think Monica would make a good FMC in a sequel or spin-off...HR worker involved in their own "scandal"..heh.

I don't know but I loved this. Hal is lowk cute asl but overall, really cute and I recommend.

I thought this was so lovely! It usually takes a lot for stories that are slice-of-life/real-life-adjacent to draw me in, and I have a strong bias for sapphic stories over others. But I let the YouTube algorithm go off for Research and caught some of a stream of chapter one, and I was so charmed that it turned from background listening to "now I'm not getting anything done" so I came here to see the rest.

The art is lovely - the characters are detailed so well and I love the little animations like blinking adding a ton of polish. The writing and story is just so charming. I don't know that I can put it another way. Very sweet, very engaging, and not boring for a moment. There was some secondhand embarrassment but as someone who can be very squeamish about that I think it was just the right amount :)

It also hit a bit different for me as a half Korean person, so I loved that aspect.

I'm sure you know this already but just letting you know in case you end up working on it again, the only really buggy-adjacent things I encountered were the phone screens being kinda wonky here and there, and some typos/grammar things in the text. But the polish is still pretty incredible for a jam entry. And I'm very happy to have had the opportunity to donate for the game to support the dev team~

omg best romance game EVERRR!! its only a few chapters but soo worth everyones time. Every character is well written and lovable in their own way. The way they act, think is so natural and unique, I totally thought I was Emma. I love how Hal is a very respectful honest mess of a man that is still trying his best to be a good bf. Raymond is such a diva and when he called us out I could relate to Emma so bad lmao. W Ray tho. Altough Monica is HR, she truly cares about every worker and was afraid that we might be in trouble. So its a very realistic trio of a sleep deprived diva, HR and and a gay dude who somehow outshines everyone. So safe to say I am in love and just wow. I hope you will soon create more games like these or that this game will receive a sequel. <3 I know that 5 bucks aint gonna cut it but I hope it helps as a little support. OwO

OMG this was such a good game !! l would love to have a hal with me but sadly l dont :( but when l saw hal l thought it was denji from csm but this game is a 10/10 for me.

OMG this is so good!! when i saw this i thought it would be a quick fun vn BUT WOW!! that was 2 hours of my life gone in a flash and I couldn't be happier. Both Emma and Hal are such relatable and complex characters which I love so much! Also loved how despite Emma overthinking things and having trouble putting thoughts into words it doesn't blow out of proportion and become like a whole miscommunication thing, THEY ACTUALLY TALKED! Anyways they are both big nerds and i love them with all my hearts. Thanks for blessing me with this amazing vn <3

the plot of almost all the medias i consume is based on miscomunication. like, an honest talk would prevent all the drama. and that was what i loved in your game! you finally did!!! you made them TALK!!!! INSANE

but really, i loved that the little drama we had was so relatable (our minds seeing things bigger than they are, trying to interpret every sign, AND the friends making the situation look very dramatic!!) and was solved quickly because hal is mature and actually communicate ToT i love a failure of a man that didnt let things escalate and just... talk!!!!! thats what i signed for!!

I wanted to try this after seeing some dev updates of the gorgeous UI and oh my gosh, did not disappoint.

As one of the girlies who enjoys her evil fictional yandere men, i felt both represented and wholly taken by how sweet and relatable both the main characters were. Their flaws and insecurities were so real, but also incredibly satisfying to see them work through with an honest conversation. A lovely reminder that work sucks, the economy isn't doing us any favours, but that at the end of it all the people are what matters <3

Also when the Leon icon appeared on the phone i stopped to point at my screen!!! That got me.

Asian family dynamics and their concept of "face" can be rough, especially during the holiday season! You've captured it splendidly. I had to stop playing for a while as I recently had to navigate my bf's family, and it was hard to read a story so relateable XD

this was so insanely cute... and such a healing balm for all of us spending new years alone playing dating sims LOL emma hit too close to home. but i absolutely adored this VN... raymond and monica as side characters were so silly, i cheered every time they appeared. i loveee workplace romances even though irl they'd probably go way messier, this scratched that itch!!!!!!!!!! emma freaking out when hal did something terribly cute/romantic was my exact reaction. like girl i'm in it with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! just an amazing VN all around <3

Holy crap, I have never laughed nor cringed so much at a random game I found on itchio before and I Love It. The main charactersfailures were failuring so hard, my cheeks were sore from smiling, and my jaws were aching from clenching them in second hand embarrassment. I felt like Ray, I was like, "Yes girl, I am so happy for you and your mangy ass boyfriend, I swear" but like actually. What a vibe. Will there ever be version where we see Hal's POV? It's okay if not, but it'd be nice to know his thought process during That One Scene, yknow? But yeah, great game, what a rollercoaster. Keep doing your thing, author, bless

Harold Kim....the man that you are lmao. His damn condoms (or lack thereof) kill me every single time, omg. I am cheering for him and Emma through and through the chaos. I hope they keep failing upward in life.

I did run into a weird saving glitch, where loading a save opens up a rollback error. And when I hit ignore, it goes all away back to Chapter 1. Luckily, not all my save slots were affected like that; but, by Chapter 3, most were.

This game is a true masterpiece. I'm an accountant myself, and this is the most relatable game I've ever played. I truly felt Emma's pain when she stayed at work on New Year's Eve...
