Rogue Malfunction
Rogue Malfunction
About the Game
Rogue Malfunction is a puzzle adventure where you control a robot struggling against an external system trying to override its inputs. Each room is a self-contained puzzle, and on first entry the game remaps certain controls, forcing the player to adapt to movement that can’t be fully trusted.
Each puzzle room remaps your movement in unpredictable ways. What once made you move forward might now send you backward. What was left becomes right. The further you go, the more your own controls betray you.
What Makes It Different
The room is your enemy. Rogue Malfunction remaps WASD as you progress, turning basic movement into the core obstacle. Each puzzle is about learning the room’s layout, timing your moves around its traps, and adapting fast when your controls stop behaving the way you expect.
Controls
- W / A / S / D | Move (intentionally remapped in some rooms)
- Space | Jump
- LMouse | Interact
- Escape | Pause Menu
