this is.. INCREDIBLE and so moving, as someone who's dealt with depression and anxiety I've never felt so seen (and called out) by a game before. It's such a delightful mix of art I'd expect to see in ENA (Joel G) and new unique beautiful creations. I played this on call with my partner and we we're both sitting there in awe at the end. This feels like one of those dreams that makes you question life- or a session of laying in the dark at night thinking through your life. Absolutely stunning. 

hii, just finished my first playthrough, it was really cool!
the art is really fitting and the music is great too (i really enjoyed the one from the childhood home)
also big + for the writting, as a non english person and for what i've understanded it and it really resonate with me (the inner thoughts are especially well written imo)

after playing: first i got the childhood home and taking a bunch of pics ending back at aquarium, really really amazing but i cant tell if its in a good or bad way yet- but it definatly resonated with my type of neurodivergence- i'll have to play it a few more times

2nd got fabia - 3rd got runing from some red thing that probs strangled us

i really liked the game ! it was so poetic and i resonated with it.

but something i wanna share is that one time i replayed the game, it was late and i was a bit tired and sensitive and i got the ending with Fabia, it made me cry because it was so comforting and i related to that ending, alone in my student appartment, sensing the vibration of the soft humming through my pc as i was in my bed, it made me want to text my friend and tell him i love him. My friend and i really love your work, we talk about it often lately !

the ending I got was where he was in his childhood home (I believe) and then when he ended up back at the aquarium or whatever. I cried so much because the way everything went aligned with me perfectly. I could almost see myself in him. this is genuinely one of the greatest games I've ever played on here. the way this was written is just so perfect. and the art style? AMAZINNGGGG. I never knew id cry to a game before LMAO. but that's just how good it was. I really, really enjoyed this game !!!

kinda dublicate this from tt, cus i want to compliment you wherever I can. It was peak. The moment in home that smells like lemons in the end had me drop a tear. The art style in this moment, is the ost, and monologue its all peak. ANDD it`s peak in the whooole game too.

Okay i want to sleep sooo bad but i need to talk abt it before i forget this feeling so sorry for the bad english (also im not a native speaker)

This was SOOO good omg, i see your video in ttk and "hey this art look hella cool, i could give a try" and god i was NOT expecting that.

Its a small game but every aspect of it its beautiful. Again, your art and the way you draw pll and expressions is amazing. The fact thats totaly inspired by you and its a real story really cath me, i cant imagine how much this game means to you but you did a great job anyway. Because i love when ppl express themselfs and are proud of it, i always will find this one of the coolest things somebody can do, in one point of the game i literaly open my notes and started to write about my own feelings while listening to the soundtrack and i honestly cry about it.

The way you portraied the feelings of dissociation and alieantion It was perfect too, i love those little parts where the characther (im bad with names) says something like "try to look human" or always talk about humans or other ppl like they are different from him, it was quite real.

I dont know what end i get, It was the one where he wanted a nap and then theres his childhood house and he thinks abt his siblings and family i think, prob the bad end but i liked it anyway and i will def try to get the others 2 when i wake up.

I dont usualy do review but sooo much thanks for this absolute masterpiece^_^ Playing the game was an amazing experience and i know im late but i hope that y had a great birthday

Okay, I understood the vibes of this when I went into playing but it still felt like going in blind. Which only added to things. What a fantastic experience and there was a reveal that recontexualized (for me) the whole alienation and disassociation themes. I'm absolutely going to be replaying this to try to get the other 2 endings because I have no idea which one I got or if it was good/bad/secret. I can't wait to see what's next from you because you did a phenomenal job of having both art and writing support and reinforce each other. 

My only critique would be to have someone proof read your prose. There were a few instances where I couldn't tell if a relative was male or female.

I loved this so much! You really get those feelings of alienation and that sort of interior monologue people get when they're thinking deeply. Played this with a buddy of mine, watching and she loved it too! I can't wait to see anything you do in future!!!!

SO HII!!! idk if you'll even know who i am but i commented on your kaito daisy bell cover a year ago... with my mother's account. i really had to, it was that good.

there was a wriggling sensation of discomfort that held me like a long-awaited embrace when i listened to the cover, and then i knew i'd been charmed by your tuning of him. listening to it once more, i find myself once again captivated by KAITO's vocals.

so it felt like the stars aligned when i'd found your instagram a whole year and something later- and you announced a cool-looking game. 
"how could something so familiar find me?" was the thought, but in reality i'd just really missed that specific aura of all your work. disorganised, bloody, beautiful.

tl;dr- i love your art pieces, forgot your user, found you on insta ages later

ok but yeah THIS GAME IS PEAK??? it's a fever dream executable using ren'py, and i mean that in the best way possible. i love the disjointed monologues of the protagonist since most vns forget that people's thoughts are very disconnected. 

the art is such a breath of fresh air considering the state of VNs on itch rn COUGH COUGH copy-and-paste yanderes COUGH COUGH ai generated bs. i love how every sprite wiggles around, it gives the impression that it's fluid, like a strange dream.

THESE FINAL SCENES HAVE SUCH BEAUTIFUL ART.... it's like a twisted version of a fairytale book, with the white base being a strong contrast to the usual black bg... i love it

got the cake/passive ending first and it's very nice and sweet but i got confused because Fabi is referred to with she/her but MC [idk his name] calls her "bro". is there some context i missed? /gen

got the alone/aggressive ending and lowkey i like it but it's quite sad how the choices i really wanted to pick led to the ending where he's alone in the house

I JUST GOT THE SECRET ENDING I FEEL LIKE A GENIUS
ion really get what it means, per se, BUT it was awesome to finagle around and find it
[hint to get it: balance passive and aggressive dialogue options]


if i had a criticism to make, it'd be that "though" is shortened to "tho" quite a lot which can reduce the impact of certain dialogues, tho this may be a stylistic choice that i missed XDD


overall, lovely game!
had lots of fun playing it on christmas day ^o^

Wow im actually really impressed with this game, being very short it explores alot of different themes about ones identity and their outer self to the world. And i love the art too its extremely interesting and almost unsettling at times. I got the ending where he joins his family for his birthday which i thought was really cute, especially the conversation on the couch with his bro lol.

I love the game, it really feels like a window into someone else's life, and done in a way thats really intriguing for me. Happy birthday btw, and i found out about this game thru reels if ur wondering. :)

Just finished the game, i love it!
I believe I got the best ending, but I will try to get the others too. I'm also curious to know if the meaning of Katabasis is explained on the other endings or the main character created it (I'm worried to search it up and get spoiler 😅). 

Got here from your youtube channel, found two of the three endings but no idea how to get the third, it's a nice game though, hope more people find out about it. (and happy birthday!)
