its been wild and beautiful in a way to first play this at 20 and come back years later older than the MC now. i hope that the years have treated you well anya, and everyone who comes back to visit scout <3

This game is just wow. I knew before I started playing how long ago it was updated, but that didn't stop me. The sheer amount of love in these comments made me want to play it even more i wasnt disapointed this story has earned a place in my memoeries its so inspiring. 

I remember when chapter 5 came out and being so quick to read it, and long before the hiatus, I remember being a fan. Enjoyed this fine piece of literature for over 5 years now. I hope you know you have done well. Thank you,  Anya, for keeping my imagination alive.

i hope you are doing well <3 back when i first read this i was so, so, SO inlove with it i replayed it every week, now i come back every few weeks wishing on a broken star that something is said on if you are good,

and hey, if this doesnt get finished, thats ok, because its wonderful how it is right now

WE MISS YOU ANYA!!! This story has inspired me to try to create my own interactive fiction one day, even if it hasn't been updated for years. I still think about this novel all the time, and I hope you know how loved your work is <3

Ah Scout, every couple of months I come back to play it again. Maybe one day there'll be more :)

Bittersweet find considering it's been paused for years now... I'm liking it so far though, just wish there was a way to go back! I'm saving like a madman.

Anya, I hope you're doing okay! Even if you decided to put this story down, we all just hope you're alright. You're an incredible writer and we would all be supportive if you chose to do something else. We miss you! 

I still remember reading this for the first time during covid and being so impressed. <3

waiting for this feels like a wife waiting for her husband to come back from the war not knowing he fell in battle and his corpse was never found

I was looking at the things I've commented on in my profile and I saw the comment I left here 4 years ago, after finishing what was available of the game, asking if it would be possible for us to download the save file (oh boy little did I know)... it's been so longgg but it's comforting to see there are a lot of comments here from ppl that also played Scout 4 years ago and are still emotionally attatched to it. You've made a compelling, lovable story, and I hope you're doing alright, Anya :/ and even if you don't plan on continuing to write this story, I'm sure you'd be supported by the people here if you decided to start another one!!

Damn fr I loved this, one of the first ever IFs I played. May this game one day come back to us🙏🏼

in about 3 days it will mark 4 years since this game last had an update. it was, like many others, my first ever text-based game i read and played :) its extremely bitter to acknowledge it probably will stay with no updates forever, but i want the author to know wherever they are that they come first, that theyve already built such a beautiful community and game, and that i wish them all the good luck and love there is in the world. thanks for everything scout and thank you author!! <3 - maite

I just read this and I'm sick to find out it's been almost 4 years since we got an update this interactive fiction is so well written. Ezra is my fave love interest. I just hope the author is thriving, healthy, and well or at least okay.

First if ever for me, played like a week after the on hold announcement, led me to discover some things I liked, and I still revisit every now and then, holding on a little sliver of hope I may see it updated
