alMoo Games
alMoo Games is the independent studio of Alex Moore. I am developing a 2D action RPG / crafting / classic sim where you manage your own Renaissance Festival, called Faire Hollow.
I am working full-time on Faire Hollow, built in Godot Engine. I have over twenty years of web development experience, but this will be my first public game release, and I can't wait!
I find creative inspiration in the rich world of Stardew Valley (built also by a solo developer!), and in classic games like Sim City 2000 and RollerCoaster Tycoon. Faire Hollow will have components of classic MMORPG grinding/leveling with gameplay mechanics borrowed from my childhood favorite, Asheron's Call, combined with automation concepts borrowed from Factorio.
My wife and I have three awesome kids. We love hiking, camping, biking, and (of course) playing video games. We live in Ohio, USA.
