The Baron has rounded up an array of prisoners to take part in a gauntlet inside his castle.

Can the players muster the ingenuity and grit required to make it out the other side? Many will enter, few will exit.

The Baron’s Sport is a 0-level funnel adventure for Dungeon Crawl Classics (DCC).

This adventure is designed for roughly 20 0-level characters.

This is a simple 32 page module, requiring little prep, and would probably be ideal as someone's first funnel. 

The Valley 100

The Baron’s Sport is adapted from the #VALLEY100, a 100-person gauntlet I ran entirely over Bluesky posts in February 2025. Some of the rooms in the original gauntlet have not made it into this version, as they are unsuited to funnel play, but a select few have and exist in these pages as more fleshed out reincarnations.

There's a plaintext version of this adventure available for free (under 'Download demo'). The Baron's Sport has been designed as a visual artifact so this version does not really compare to the full experience, but it will give you a good idea of what this thing is.
