Jan 2025

I got back into playing otome games again in 2023 (specifically Harukanaru Toki no Naka de 3: Izayoiki).

That game (*particularly the PSP release) has a hold over me for too long. I got the Vita release too, lol /facepalm

It’d be such a thrill to full-comp the game and use my own save data to play on the game’s fandisc, Meikyuu no Labyrinth 😂 Even when there’s a new character route on Vita |D

Currently about half way through! Will write again when I make some headway.

Checked out some popular mobile otome games last month and Love and Deepspace stood out so I stuck around for more.

Even one is a lot for me to keep up! Also, the upcoming Lunar New Year event sounds lovely (yay!).

On the other hand, there’s linkrot.

The sites that I remember visiting; some are no longer around because either the server contract expired, the page owners deleted them and etc. Some pages might not even be on the Wayback Machine.

When you have a moment, go check out one website that you used to go years ago.

If the site is no longer accessible, check the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine or the site is still accessible / somewhat intact, read here on how to save live web pages.

That’s all for now!

News

August 2024

Pounced on the time and chance to update my drama CD buying guide.

Started cleaning up / tweaking the other buying guide for manga but it seems like a bigger undertaking until I get to the finish line. (Done; Dec 12, 2024)

Found myself enjoying the anime for Kusuri-ya no Hitorigoto and Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon. The light novels might be worth the time:)

The Japanese TV series, Unnatural is really good – there’s a new movie titled Last Mile which is set in the shared universe of Unnatural and MIU404. Hope it get screened somewhere close to me!!

Bye for now ヾ(^▽^*)))

Edit: Read this article about linkrot / digital decay and went about slowly updating some deadlinks with those from the Internet Archive. It really is sad to see them vanish : (

Ramblings

2021: Happy Holidays!

I’m writing this a little too late for Christmas but not far from the year-end either.

Please accept my sincerest wishes for a happy holiday (or just plain ‘hoorah-ing’ at the end of another year and welcoming a new one) and as a friend told me, do more of what makes you happy.

And truly, it’s a great reminder. Sending lots of love and hugs.

The blog will be on the backburner for some time as I’m in the cave working on translating, brushing up and editing Dormitory Love spring+summer until the end of February or early March (I’m halfway into character route #3 of #6, wish me well!).

All the best in 2022!
