I am the guy who disliked a “nazi” punching game, because I dislike how people like its author consider anyone who is not far-far-left a “nazi”. But You are probably thinking about me. Feel free to give me one star :)
I enjoy the story and choices. Ui design and images made by actual artist would make a difference (I personally would rather have only text than AI images). The images should also be optimized as they load slowly.
This is a nifty idea for a CYOA style game, but the real draw is the author's sensibilities in creating a game of this match and type. I am drawn by the level of detail and immersion from his other works (check out his Wordpress page), and anyone who embraces Lovecraft while accrediting Ludwig Boltzmann has done his homework. I can't help but find parallels with the craft and my own methods of storytelling in my own text-based game.
My intentions were to do a quick playthru, but the rabbit hole goes deep and Dominion of Darkness has its own level of addiction. Keep up the good work!
One thing, the artwork no longer loads on my "offline" version.
I’m not very familiar with the genre, but I spent an enjoyable hour playing as a reckless Orc Queen.
At least on my Windows 11 + Chrome setup, images failed to load due to SSL errors. The page layout may have been affected as well. As it stands, it might help to bold key points in the text and make important stats visible without requiring scrolling.
